Healthy Loaf or my version of Paleo Bread….

2 years ago, my girlfriend Tosca came for a visit and brought still warm homemade bread, or a loaf.

We enjoyed it with dinner and the next morning.I made it a couple of times since.

It is easy, delicious and healthy, what more can you ask.

So, yesterday with all the bad weather we had, I was thinking to make it, went on Tosca’s blog, looked for it, found it and of course, I did not have all ingredients  my pantry, so I changed it around and it was delicious, just different.

I used:

2 cups of almond flour ( like Tosca’s)

2 tablespoons of flour

1 cup flaxseeds, whole, Tosca used crushed

1 cup hemp hearts

1 cup sunflower seeds

1 Tablespoon of baking powder ( I did not have the gluten free one)

2 smashed bananas

1 tablespoon of sour cream

1/2 cup of maple syrup.

4 eggs

I mixed all ingredients and poured them in a loaf pan and baked it for 45 minutes on 375 and it was totally yummy.IMG_1840
