Growing up in the triangle of Germany, France, and Luxembourg, travelling to different countries was not difficult. It wasn’t uncommon to take a quick drive to go out for lunch in France, skip school to watch people and eat sweets in Luxembourg, or have breakfast at the Eiffel Tower.
When going out for dinner, the food options were endless, with three distinct cuisines to choose from. Being exposed to this variety of cuisines slowly made its way into the dishes that were cooked with family gatherings and outings. Today, Pia draws on these early experiences when cooking for her family and friends.
